VERY URGENT Shelter said,
He is very shy. Would say no small kids or other dogs with this guy, until he gets settled somewhere. Walks well on leash, sits on command.
Tested him with cats and he did fine - was just not particularly interested and backed away when they hissed & batted at him. Had limited contact with another, smaller dog and seemed fine, but not sure I would really trust him just yet. He continues to warm up to me & from the way he is acting I don't think he was given much attention - sad ! This guy needs someone who will go slowly and give him time to build some trust & bond at his own pace. He reminds me a lot of my 1st WGSD - she was serious, slow to bond, shy and aloof like this.
